^This folder contains the following^(too big for this forum)

8 saves(.cust is the same as .FLT) with their .fxml and .wx files also.

The OFP I used (ignore the step climbs i stayed at FL240 the whole time)

2 screenshots showing the FMS arrival constraints.

    Save files are as follows:

    1 - After FMS setup.

2 - After TOGA button pressed with A/T off.

    3 - After start.

4 - During climb(this is when I checked and set up the descent and arrival speeds and constraints).

    5 - Shortly after TOC.

    6 - Just before TOD.

7 - During descent showing i'm over the FMS selected speed but power above Idle.

7-1 - Another later in descent showing i'm still above the FMS speed but engines applying power as i was in light turbulence.

    8 - After shut down.

    Notes:

The initial descent at 290Kts was on profile but its gets worse the lower you get as the engines don't Idle completely at the 250/FL100 standard limitation.

Arrival speed constraints were half followed.

The FMS selected 210 for the fix then went straight back to 240 even though the next fix was also 210. I went to manual selected speed to 210 to avoid issues.

When in even the lightest turbulence the speed struggles to bleed off even in level flight as the engines wont Idle.

I was on an RNAV arrival and you will notice even though the FF is 3000ft and the runway is 343ft meaning the FMS should create a descent to give a constant descent angle to the runway, it seem like it just sticks it at 3 degrees meaning it descends steeper than the actual path to the runway. This may be normal for this aircraft but being used to flying PMDG FSLABS and QW I find they all will descend from FF height to the runway at a constant angle to meet the runway height at the runway.

Please watch the video to see me setup the aircraft performance i left it all to default values to make sure I wasn't causing it.

I spent time making sure I could give you as much detail as possible so please respect this and let me know you have all you need.

For some reason when I save either using auto save or me doing it they save as .cust files. these are exactly the same as the .FLT files as you can open them and see in Notepad. You may have to change them to .FLT and it will work.

I love the aircraft and you have done a great job and the only real issue for me is the constraint following(even in SP1) and the fact the aircraft just wont slow down correctly with A/T on.

I am willing to test any future updates as I feel I would prove useful to you.

  2. fsuipc auto save just exactly the same. it just tells the sim to save the flight. i know what they want I'm not confused by that. I'm confused at why such a basic function like the A/t letting the throttles stay at idle is such an issue for so many even after SP1. I am not the only one having this issue.

We can't test the video, that's why we need the saved flight. If it's not the situation where we can reproduce the problem then it's useless. Please re-create the problem and save the FLT file just at the TD.

    Thank you

i mean do any flight and try do a popper arrival. this stuff should be picked up by the testers. the throttle just doesn't like to idle even when it should on slow down and descent. next time I bring myself to fly them I will do just that.

  4. A/T wont Idle thrust even when there is excess speed regardless of it being a selected or managed speed. please see the approach. the only way I could slow down was to disable A/T and use speed brake. i believe this issue has been touched on already but here is a vid check out the arrival. SP1 correctly installed. this is the 2nd flight and is the same behavior each time. Just seems like the A/T wont move to Idle even when needed. I also noticed that I had a speed constraint of 220 on a way point that the aircraft followed then the next way point had 200 as a spd constraint but in-between the speed went too 240kts. i didn't allow this to happen as i took over the throttle so dont know if when i get closed to the 200kts constraint it may have slowed down, it should not speed up in between anyway. it did sucessfully keep the 290/.70/3 I set in descent correctly just didn't idle the throttle in the later stages where its important for it to do that quickly to get me ready for landing. i also had to disable A/T for finals as if i put it on it just would not idle.
