I have a replica cockpit built around it. In order to update that cockpit to P3D 4.5
Wow. Would absolutely love to see that. Do you have a website or have anything online showing your cockpit? My hat is off to you; that's something I can only wish to aspire to doing but would love to have. Stationary or with a 3,5 DOF platform?

The textures are higher resolution due to so many requests. You might wish to convert them to a lower resolution.
Thank you for replying. I'll try converting them using imagetool.exe from the P3D SDK. I think I'll start with the feelThere PIC E175\sharetexture\lighting folder. All/most of those textures all appear to be 4Kx4K, DDS format DXT5 Compression. I'll convert to DDS5 DXT5 with 2048 resolution, no mips first. After that, I'll have a go at the (what appear to be) VC textures in the \sharedtexture folder. I'll let you know my results.
P.D.: For anyone who might be trying the same, I'll batch resize using PhotoShop's custom Action/Record and Automate as imagetool.exe does not (batch) resize.

Thank you for that sags. Exactly what I needed to know. I'm a long time user of version 2, with multiple screens, and looking to update to v3 so wanted to confirm before purchase.
Can't understand why Feelthere don't provide the information on their website, or why they could not answer either my previous post or this one.
Maybe it's because it's in the manual. Pages 20 and 31 for the MCDU(aka FMC or FMS) and page 25 for the EICAS.
Manual is freely downloadable on the product page (without purchase): https://www.feelthere.com/shop/p3d/embraer-v3-175-and-195-p3d4/
In the V2 manual, same info, pages 21, 25 and 31 respectively.

Load different aircraft same flight no issues.
+1. Happened again last night. KORD-KBUF on VATSIM as SKW5321. Passed 10000 ft AGL around dusk with a low deck (4000 ft) with another 100% stratus layer at 6000. Started a long app for RWY 23, frames steady ~25-30. At DH for the APP (200ft) it was twilight, frames then quickly dropped to ~10, touchdown, KBUF on RWY 23 rollout, turned toward terminal and frames dropped to 2 fps. Then it became unmanageable. GPU spiked to 100% and was pegged thereafter (before it was in the 80% range). That seems to be one of the problem's symptoms. Disconnected and flew the app with another payware a/c and frames were stable on the app, t/d taxi to the gate and thereafter.
Another observation --- Could this be related in any way to the V/C (and dynamic lighting) since the update? I still notice quite long load times for V/C textures, especially at night/dusk. If I switch views from v/c, to spot, then back to v/c in this scenario it seems to affect the degradation. If I am able to get to spot view and pan up to the sky, it seems to stabilize until I change view back to v/c.
I wish we could get this sorted. I absolutely love this aircraft.

A livery of the E-190 for Lufthansa would really make my day.
Unfortunatelly, there's only a 195 of Lufthansa so far.
Just posted May 7th on AVSIM:

Does not really matter to me since I have an Airbus in a Southwest livery. I like the jetBlue colors and patterns but only have the 175-195 combo. Can't really justify another $50-$60 to buy the 170-190 combo. As much as I like the Ejets I don't need the whole stable.
I also fly Delta in Europe and Africa, Austrian Airlines in the USA, etc. I try not to get bogged down with unnecessary details and just fly.
I certainly understand. Might want to just fly the house (Embraer) livery. It's actually a nice looking paint scheme.

Jeffrey S. Bryner , can you share with us your "to do" liveries list ?
Thanks in advanceOlá,
Right now, I'm contemplating CONVIASA E190, China Southern E190, LOT Polish Airlines E170/175 (remember they were the first E170 operator) and possibly a Tianjin Airlines E190. I saw a request for the TAP E195 which I may take on considering I did TAP in a E190.
That's top of mind for now....still need to release the J-AIR E190 I had started with the J-AIR E170.😧

jetBlue E-195. There was one available for the Ejets v2 E-195 but not sure if it's compatible with the v3 Ejets.
TIA, Jerry
Hi Jerry,
JetBlue only flies the E190 (LR). See https://www.planespotters.net/airline/JetBlue-Airways or https://www.airfleets.net/flottecie/JetBlue Airways.htm. I was working on some of the other tails and the 2-color blue fuse stripe. Which reg did you have in mind?

You can download liveries on inibuilds, and if it is not there you can contact them and they will do it for you, and their work is excellent, you just need to order the livery, I highly recommend it.
Or you can just post the request here and someone will do it for you....I highly recommend it...😉

Did you adjust the refresh rate of the instruments?
Greetings,
Thank you for the reply. Here's my FPS settings in the EMB configurator. As this is for all models and I don't seem to have the issue with the E170/E190, I didn't think that would be the place to look. Suggestions?
-
+1 here as well. My experience of this seems to be at dusk/night. Daytime it seems ti be more stable and closer to normal FPS for my sim. If I fly out of KORD (FSDT V2) at dusk/night, I'm getting 4-7 FPS on the ground. As @flydknoted, in the air, it's fine. I was flying into KMSY from KMIA arriving at dusk and the descent passing below 10000 ft, FPS went from 30+ (stable) to 2-5 FPS on final and I had to disconnect from VATSIM as I could not finish the approach.
I can also report that if I select a view other than virtual cockpit (e.g. exterior), FPS returns to normal. I've tried this with and without ChasePlane and it does not make a difference.
I love this a/c, but this issue is making it more difficult to enjoy the E175/E195 with the SP.

Alaska Airlines Opd by Horizon Air "HONORING THOSE WHO SERVE" Special Livery (N651QX) On Short Final...
I will be releasing this later this week, but wanted to offer a preview. This has taken some time as I created the winglet art, tail art and medallions by hand including the FALLEN SOLDIER and the HORIZON AIR SALUTES THOSE WHO SERVE. Enjoy the preview.
Cheers,

Hi Jeff, Couldn't really figure it out. Will just wait for yours... Thanks
You're welcome Ryan. Hope to get them released yet this weekend. COVID-19 quarantine giving me more time than I've had in forever to focus on such things. Actually, I've been spending time working on Alaska Air/Horizon Air "Honoring Those Who Serve Livery" for the E175 (N651QX): https://www.planespotters.net/photo/1017417/n651qx-alaska-airlines-embraer-erj-175lr-erj-170-200-lr
There's a lot of vector artwork to (re)create for that repaint, but I'm about 50% on with it. Will get back to the GSX profiles soon.
Cheers,

This is the only aircraft I’ve flown so far where I ran out of VRAM.
You might want to go back and review Lockheed Martin's Minimum and Recommended System Requirements for Prepar3D V5. Minimum VRAM is now 4GB (up from the 2GB minimum in V4) and Recommended is 8GB (as with V4), so no guarantee for addons, especially complex ones, if you're at the minimum. Hey Jeff, do you know if there is anyway to edit my own and put it in the gsx file? Thanks appreciate the help
Hi Ryan,
You sure can. GSX comes with an in-sim graphical editor for both aircraft customization and airport customization. The GSX manual explains this in detail starting on roughly page 52, in the section titled "Airplane customization." The location of the manual is under the folder where GSX installed (i.e.: ..Addon Manager\couatl\GSX). The file name is/was GSX_manual.pdf. It is very detailed, and all the credit in the world goes to Umberto and FSDT for providing such detailed documentation and sophisticated tools.
You can, of course, edit the config files directly. The document explains that as well and where those files are located.
Best of Luck to you.

This is the immediate solution (aka 'hotfix')
Could this information be posted by FeelThere on the FSElite Prepar3D V5 Upgrade Hub / Compatible Aircraft page (https://fselite.net/prepar3d-v5-compatibility/aircraft/)?
The only FeelThere planes listed are the E13x/E14x. The V3 EJET is not on the list. A User confirmation of compatibility can be posted, but a post from FeelThere would be more official. We certainly want to get the word out to as many as possible that the V3 EJET can fly in the P3D V5 skies!

Not sure if its just me but I have a problem that at night the PBR metals on the leading edge and tailcone turn black textured at night along with the cockpit window frame. Seems like its a PBR problem as in the daytime these textures are fine. Any ideas on how to fix it? Very annoying that's for sure! Thanks for all the help in advance!
If you're Prepar3D v4.5, consider the HotFix released in May of 2019: https://www.prepar3d.com/news/2019/05/115307/
If you're Prepar3D V4.4, have a look at this video from Rob Ainscough:

Wow, and I do mean wow. So where did you get all of the components (overhead, yoke, pedestal, etc) visible in the pictures? Do you fly (in it) online, if so which network? I'm on VATSIM. If I'm asking too much (private) info, please PM me. I'd love to hear more about this. How did the project start? What are you using for Those posts are only a mere 2ish years old; to me that's recent. Did you use any GWI panel components?
