Hi John, Still trying some things to see about narrowing this down. I downloaded another APP from the windows store called XCockpit. And it has issues also communicating . It allows heading to be entered on the app, and that seems to work. But When entering ALT and or V/S It operated a little different then the FsPanelServer program. If I enter a new ALT like currently running a real ALT of say 19000 and then entering 15000. It doesn't got to 15000 by itself. But then switching over to the v/s and changing to -1500 in that field and toggling to use v/s, the plane starts declining by -1500 and then when the plane reaches 15000 in real ALT it toggles back to ALT and the plane stays at that alt. And the entered -1500 in the V/s field goes to 000. So this is different then how the FsPanelServer did the adjustment. I contacted this programmer and he said his software is relatively new. Doesn't have a manual yet, and He said that it is very difficult to get all the planes to work correctly. But he will get back with me after testing the cessna jet I used for the test. BTW his software cost was like $1.50 so I am not holding my breath that he will have a lot of answers. But we will see. I was just trying to see if there was any common denominator and all of this. I can't believe that the sim software can be so picky. This all used to work so well and then Microsoft (in my opinion) changes something and things go crazy. So in answer, this can be closed on your end and I will just keep experimenting on my end. Also note your program is super with all that you have put into it. And with all the diagnostic things it can do. Logs etc. I don't fault your support or anything like that. I am going to save this post on my pc and refer back to it, but to be honest, my lack of aircraft terms and how a regular plane is supposed to work, I am overwhelmed with understanding your explanation yet. That is why I am still chewing on this LOL It's hell being 73 years old 🙂

I am referencing a youtube that I did along with this flight to show the different screens and referencing the event on the left of the log. I ended this flight in the air by ESC and going to main menu and then desktop. NOTE: for some reason the NAV controlling the direction is working for some reason "this flight" , but the ALT and V/S are a little wonky. Thank you so much for your feedback. Reinstalled the FSRADIOPLANEL with updated navigation download. Ran this time with the plane listed in log took off from KCVG to KIND with nav turned on but the controls with NAV didn't keep the plane in that direction. The ALT was set and that was not maintaining the correct ALT. Went back into the cockpit mode and changed from FLT PLAN to Direct to KIND and it allowed the plane to head to indy. but the alt was still way off. This sounds like their issue but wanted to find out how to explain to that vendor what is not coming correctly into your log file. Again Thanks for any assist. FSUIPC7.log

John, Thanks for the reply. I did turn on the events buttons and keys and then also turned on the console logging. That is very helpful. My issue is that it is flying by my eyes so quickly LOL First thing I need to do, it remove all of the 3'd party apps from the community to verify that nothing else is effecting this issue. What I can tell so far, is that I can see the button pushes on the FSPanel screen in the log. The alt is not staying at the exect same setting example set for 5000 it might stay at 4600 ft on the display but at least it is working. the odd one is the NAV v/s heading. The heading is working ok, but the nav is all over the place. I went into the dashboard of the plane, and changed from nav to direct to KIND and it tends to fly to the correct direction. After removing the 3'd party extra stuff. I will reinstall the FSPANEL program and re-download the following with out the subscription {Navigraph Data: This products comes with an AIRAC cycle 1513 V2 Navigraph database which has all the information you need to create a flight plan. But if you want to keep your database up to date you will need a subscription from Navigraph. (http://www.navigraph.com/FmsDataManualInstall.aspx) To install the data for the first time, you must press the right button (SLK 6) with the title UPGRADE in the STATUS Screen. I am not totally sure which version of the msfs2020 started having this issue but wanted to see if you have any ideas why the program FsRadioPanel would stop recognizing inputs to set ALT NAV and HEADING. I have contacted there support but have not gotten anything except make sure I have the latest version. Since there software refers to your program has to be loaded also. And you have better things like logs to reference. I wanted to see if there is anywhere I could look to verify any miscommunication from your program and theirs. Most of their panels show the correct information during the flight but as mentioned above, Entering a new altitude specifically or turning on the AP with NAV instead of Heading it is just not responding the same anymore. I tried updating to the 7.3.17 version and that is not helping either. I have attached a youtube video showing the issue. As always thanks for any help, Ken

I had a little funkyness when to be safe I uninstalled the program and then reinstalled it didn't want to load the .ini file even though I marked register. In the log it showed issue with the following failing. I went to the backup image I had from 3 days ago and over wrote the file it was complaining about, did the uninstall again and this time the install log showed Adding FSUIPC7 auto-start the the MSFS EXE.xml. Updating EXE.XML for MS Store install I added the 3 files at the bottom of the .ini as before and BINGO it's working and closing properly. Ever since msfs has done this latest update I have had all kinds of weird issues as others have too 😞 In effort to resolve, First after downloading update, and having their bugs, and reading some have downloaded the whole PC MSFS2020 again, I tried that. Also uninstalled all the community add on's and turned off all the other software I was using with the FS and just running the ms by its load file. After they sent a fix to the 1.18.14.0 build things started to simmer down to someone usable flights. I reinstalled your program and the other two programs I use FsPanelServer.exe and it's android panel for controlling the plane. And a program called FsSimRateBandit for sim speed changes. Both used to work with inserting them in your FSUIPC7.ini file. By then before would all above would have been loaded. This now appears to be some kind of timing issue with the different screens on msfs loading like the plane view of the ground with the new rhino picture, then the other things and finally the main menu. I can include the log file for you to view, and see if something timing wise, might be the issue but didn't want to send on public view. As a side note I can run the files above manually and they work ok. Hope you might have some ideas.

John... sorry if this is a stupid question but referring to your reply above "No. Currently no access to weather information in MSFS using FSUIPC7." Is that why after a crash and reload of flight and data there is no weather drop down to allow adjustment of the flights time of day etc? Also why under log , the weather is greyed out but you can checkmark it? Thanks, Ken

I just tried to load from saved flights from the autosave and it seems to be working. loaded from FLT while msfs2020 was running, todays flight with a small aircraft and loaded a prev save point from today. And also clicked on a flight with a jet the other day, and it loads that aircraft on todays location. So seems to work.

Not sure if this is the correct location for this but this is issue I am running into: I have registered version FSUIPC7 an after a crash, it looks like with the file save turned on it has generated this list of saved files to load back in to pick up as .FLT But maybe I am doing something wrongs as in the user guide. It talks about saving but not sure it indicates to my clarity how to start over after the crash from the air. I tried loading one back in different ways. But the only way which sort of works is: Start the msfs2020, load from the world map view that says Load/save and pick load. It shows the files: (autosave sat 105704.flt) etc and trying to pick one to load will not get flight in the air. Only works if I load a .PLN file, and then after starting the [FLY} yellow button Then before taking off or after, jump back to the load button and pick one of the inflight .FLT points, it then shows that point with me in the air before the crash but a few seconds later the whole MSFS program just closes. Can someone explain the proper reloading of a saved flight and what order to reload that flight from? I have uploaded a FLT. Thanks AUTOSAVE SAT 110102.FLT
