Why didn't someone post the problems that Helge has had over 7 months ago? Then my dear sir, we would have all shut up and waited while he made a full recovery!!!!!
I am done with this thread not that I have an answer.

When you click on the "aircraft" tab and select an aircraft, it should be all filled out. I enter my climb speed, cruise speed etc. Also enter your cruise altitutude for the direction you are flying. Click on "save" and continue on with your flight. The fuel burn for each aircraft is preset as you can see. You may change that however.
Hope that helps.

I don't think an apology is in line to be honest. I have waited for some word for some time now. If I spend the money on another flight planner, you can be certain I won't I won't take the time to visit this forum to see what is going on.
I want to start using FSX with a good flight planning program. I am tired of not using FSX and going back to FS9 to do my flights.
It would only take one minute to post a message about the state of the next version etc.

I guess this is only an estimate for the fuel burn. But the hours and distance were right on. My actual fuel burn was 59582.

I agree. One would think that someone besides Helge would have some information regarding the future of this program. Makes absolutely no sense in not informing the loyal people that use this great program.

From my experience, it does calculate the fuel burn when you select the type of aircraft you are going to fly.

It looks promising. Do you always have the Copilot gauge showing while you fly or can you toggle it on and off like the f9 key in FSnav?

FS9 will normally not give you the active runway when you go to the airports menu. I fly a lot out of kmsp and fs9 will always give me runway 4 when in fact it is very seldon the active runway. If you generate a flight plan with FSNav using a departure runway you want and load it to fs9, it should have you use that runway.

Did you try saving the flight with FSNav undocked and make it your default flight?
