Hi, is it easy to add for example flights from Amerijet 727 into and out of KMIA?

Hi, is there a way to remove the "need a more direct route" response for directing aircraft to taxi. There are times that I need them to go a certain route but the grip and complain, however I need them to go to their specified taxiways for a reason. Especially at KSAN. Bill

Thanks for the response Blaker35, another issue with KSAN is that planes dont use the displaced threshold in Tower 2011, so they slow down and exit way early than they actually do in real life and have to hold for some time for taxing airplanes from the terminal areas not to block their assigned parking routes back to their gates. If they actually landed further down the runway, they would be exiting runway 27 further down closer to their terminals if you catch my drift. I do love operating KSAN however, its challenging with the single runway and single taxi way of Bravo Bill -- post moved as it asked a question already answered (see above). - d.scobie (aka, scoobflight) --

HI guys, I had a 767 NAC5336: TAXI TO RAMP VIA B6 after landing runway 27 and exiting B7...the 767 did a U turn and started to taxi back into the active runway heading towards B6 while on the runway when the landing aircraft crashed head-on with the plane. This would have not happened if the plane would have taxied out to taxi B and B6. Is this an issue of me not stating taxiway B in front of B6? Also notice that planes are not centered on the runway during takeoff and landings. During takeoff planes are on the top portion of the runway and on landings they seem to be on the bottom portion of the runway. weird. Let me know if you want the Tower.log file for this or if this is an issue that can be adjusted with airport editor.

Have you tried Tower 2011 in windowed mode instead of full screen?

Hi, just purchased KSAN and was wondering if there is a way to get the landing planes on 27 to land further down the runway like in real life instead of the beginning of the runway? Aircraft do not land at the end of the runway as at most airports, but at a displaced threshold. Runway 27 has a displaced threshold of 1,810' and Runway 9 has a displaced threshold of 700'. Thanks for providing one of my favorite airports. Are there any chances of San Juan PR? Thanks, Bill

Thank Tom yes I have the multi-player version and that definitely did the trick. Now its working properly and the planes are holding short. Plus feels better being able to say 8L and 9 instead of 08 or 09. Much appreciated. Bill

Ok they entered the runways when told to taxi to runway 8R (for american) and 9 (for yukon). Both aircraft American and Yukon taxied from ramp and taxied to their runways and entered the runways without holding short. Now ive tested the same command to runway 12 and they all hold short of the runway. Running Windows 7 64bit Speech is installed and setup correctly and working fine. computer specs MSI P55-GD65 Intel i5 750 Corsair 8gig DDR3 Nvidia Geforce GTX 560 1gig DDR5 Win 7 Ultimate 64bit Maxtor SATA 200gig 8MB Buffer 7200 Corsair CX600 600W PS game.zip

I deleted the tower.log and replicated the issue, exited the game, but don't see a tower.log file. There is on the other hand a game.log file with info in it. Is the game.log the one I attach then?

Hi, I have noticed that when commanding airplanes to taxi to runway 08R from the ramp all the planes end up lining up and waiting on 08R instead of holding short. All other runways work fine and they hold short.

Allan, I tried what you said and made sure to add to the 752 the AA paint and added to the american code "AAL". But did not help. Even did that to the 772. One thing I did notice is that for some reason the Delta 88 paint now has "AAL" in front of it. Dont know why. The only way i got the paints to work with the schedule that I have is to actually change all the 752 to read 757 and the 772 to read 777 for AA flights. And BINGO! now they are all in their AA colors. Could I have been doing something wrong. I checked and rechecked everthing and could not find any reason why they would not be mapped with the airplane editor. The airline Code is right under the buttons for adding the graphics to the planes right? And then you hit save plane, right? Thanks Bill

Just verified that British Airways on Schedule Creator 7 was white and on default schedule had its color scheme. On American Airlines planes some had white and some had the appropriate colors. Need to find out how to check this issue. Would like to use the schedule creator 7 flights. ok, trying to figure this out..for example I noticed that the 757 did not have AA colors but the 777 did. so I opened my Airplanes folder in Tower 2011 and I can see some planes for example 737-800_generic_dal.apt I take it this is the 737-800 for Delta colors...right? I also see in there 757-200_generic_aal.apt I take it for American 757-200 colors Dont see anything for United Airlines So how do I make sure the current schedule.txt matches to the dedicated planes with correct paints? Do I need to change my schedule.txt information for example for the AA 757 colors from "752" to "757-200_generic_aal"? Thats seems really time consuming. Going to see what is going on, but many airliners we missing their colors at KMIA when using Schedule Creator 7, for example united airliners, delta airlines, and some american airlines...when I reverted to my backup default schedule.txt file, then I got all the colors from the airlines. How do I check if United for example is targeting the correct plane with textures? When I checked my airlines.txt in database folder and compare the default schedule.txt with the schedule creator 7's output version I dont see a difference in the mapping of airplanes.

Gotcha, will take a look at that. Are there any more plan for more of these addons?

Hi, I want to get the real colors KMIA addon and want to know if it will also work for KLAX too since American and other airlines that are included wtih KMIA also fly into KLAX? I know that some aircrafts will not have their represented colors but will it still work for KLAX? I usually control KMIA so that is the reason to buy that one first. Ok, I forgot to do step 4 for KMIA, I added fed, ups to the cargo terminal. Now it should work

Well, I do get the many NAC flights, might need to add more cargo areas to the KMIA airport. There seems to be plenty of cargo on it already, but getting filled up with NAC I guess

For KMIA, I've been getting for cargo a lot of NAC (Yukon) cargo flight. Thing is they are 767 and NAC does not operate 767. But I have not seen any UPS or FEDEX flights.
