Hi Golan,
only updating the FSUIPC will not help.
You have also deinstall and reinstall your aerosoft version.

Hi Dougal,
that's not a solution, that's a workaround.
As Sascha has written before, send the file FSCDBM_FS10.log from your main PC
to my e-mail adress which you find at www.FSCommander.com

Hi Lothar,
I'm sure that AeroSoft has put the previous DataBaseManager version into there installation routine.
Anyway, both version 8.4 and 8.5 are not different.
I will advise AeroSoft to put the current version into there installation routine.

Hi,
FS Commander uses, of course, a generic algorithm for fuel calculation which needs to be applicable to ALL aircraft. Therefore fuel calculation can never be totally accurate, simply because too many variables interfere in real life. Furthermore real aircraft use all kinds of tables as a basis for fuel calculation. And we do not have those tables. And even if we did, they refer to real aircraft, and as is well known, flightsim aircraft differ in innumberable respects from the real things.
Therefore the only possibility to get a fairly decent calculation is to manipulate (and play around with) the parameters in the aircraft window.

Hi Lothar,
Please check your limitation range. In other respects I like and recommend your tool.
FSCommander has no traffic limit. The program can handle so much traffic it can get from the FSUIPC,
depending from the settings in the FSUIPC (see the manual) and the Online Client (see also the manual).
Don`t make a charge against VATSIM Data, what you doing generally in that caseWould you please explain what You mean?

Hi Peter,
The following prompt appears when I try to run the Manager: "copy scenery.cfg from Windows system drive as scenerycfg.fsc to the FSX path". I do not know what this means I should do. I have only one scenery.cfg file which is in the FSX main folder. Could you kindly clarify it for me.I have a fresh install of XP and FSX on the FS box (FSUIPC 4/ WideFs 7) in a two computer network where FSC 8.4 runs on the secondary box (WideFS 6.75).
have you read the manual? Chapter Updating airports for FS X in a network, Page 12 !!!

Hi Al,
there is no reason to delete the older version.
Just following the instruction for the update/patch and don't forget to create to new Links for the
Databasemanager and FSCommander on your desktop to make sure that you run the current, new version.
Never delete the *.old files, there are a part of the program.Volker

Hi Joao,
what i'm expected. You CAN'T mounting the Flightsimulator folder, You MUST mounting the drive and then you have
select the Flightsimulator in the left Box.
Please download the current manual from our website and read/study the chapter Appendix Network.

Volker
