  1. Hi Chris,

thank You for your observation. We will fix this until the next version.

Meanwhile there is a workaround to create a LowAlt flightplan.

Depending from which runway you want to takeoff, just select a waypoint,

for example PAS intersection and then select LowAlt or

for example rwy23 select SID BELU4A and then select LowAlt.

    Regards,

    Volker

  2. Hi Martin,

The problem that I have is inserting waypoints in the latitude/longitude format. For example in the PMDG FMC you enter 59N 020W as 5920n. Somehow that doesn't work in FSC. I read the manual about userwaypoints but there must be a way arround this.

Thats true, you can't insert waypoints by typing Lat/Lon buthave you read the current manual,

chapter 5.1.2 Custom waypoints, selecting custom waypoints ?

    Regards,

    Volker

  3. Hi Carolus,

When I download a weather file, lets say, 14Z.TXTG, is in that file all weather from 0Z until 14Z.

If you are download 14Z, you get all metar data starts with 13:45 and ended with 14:44.

Please read: http://weather.noaa.gov/weather/metar.shtml , chapter A Discussion of METAR Cycles

Suppose I fly at a time I have set at 10 local this is 9Z at my place. The real Z time might be 13Z.

What file do I have to download, the 9Z.TXT or the 13Z.TXT

If your local time is 10:00 then can be only one Zulu time depending of your timezone.

    Regards,

    Volker

  4. Hi Luis,

I try to be always friendly however in this case i wan't to ask You, why you dont read the file Fsc842PatchEng.txt which was include the Patch.

    Here reread again to:

Some users reported that even after the original patch 8.4.1, weather download continued to be impossible. What apparently happened is that

access to the ftp server was possible without any problems; however, the weather file could not be copied from the server to your hard disk

from within FS Commander. Theoretically, there are "millions" of reasons why this should happen. Since FS Commander uses Window calls for the

copy process, we can reasonably assume that some individual Windows settings prevent copying from an ftp server. This may range from a

specific firewall setting to all kinds of other security setting. This patch allows you to manually access the ftp server at

    ftp://tgftp.nws.noaa.gov/data/observatiar/cycles/

and again manually copy the weather file onto your hard disk.

    IMPORTANT:

Note furthermore that you download only ONE file which corresponds to the current Zulu time.

    IMPORTANT:

    a. the file must be copied into the /database subdirectory.

    b. the name of the file must not be changed.

Choose subsequently Weather --> Show weather

    Friendly regards,

    Volker

BTW please don't create allways a new thread for the theme, just using the current one .
