  1. Thanks Pete, I put weather factor back to 2 and restarted fsx with weather as clear skies but it still crashes. By the way, I often use the weather settings cold fronts or fair weather while flying. I rarely use real world weather. I think I can stick with weather factor being 0 because I use FSUIPC for ACARS but it will still be nice to know what is causing the problem. This time crash report(with clear weather): Faulting application name: fsx.exe, version: 10.0.61637.0, time stamp: 0x46fadb14 Faulting module name: weather.dll, version: 10.0.61637.0, time stamp: 0x46fadb59 Exception code: 0xc0000005 Fault offset: 0x00015443 Faulting process id: 0x1f8c Faulting application start time: 0x01cf1bbe52afac59 Faulting application path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\fsx.exe Faulting module path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\weather.dll Report Id: c04eb0ec-87b1-11e3-b2aa-028037ec0200 Without clear weather: Faulting application name: fsx.exe, version: 10.0.61637.0, time stamp: 0x46fadb14 Faulting module name: weather.dll, version: 10.0.61637.0, time stamp: 0x46fadb59 Exception code: 0xc0000005 Fault offset: 0x00015443 Faulting process id: 0x23b0 Faulting application start time: 0x01cf1bbe8a86c599 Faulting application path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\fsx.exe Faulting module path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\weather.dll Report Id: edf5268a-87b1-11e3-b2aa-028037ec0200 After reloading while in clear weather: Faulting application name: fsx.exe, version: 10.0.61637.0, time stamp: 0x46fadb14 Faulting module name: weather.dll, version: 10.0.61637.0, time stamp: 0x46fadb59 Exception code: 0xc0000005 Fault offset: 0x00015443 Faulting process id: 0x1b60 Faulting application start time: 0x01cf1bbec142cdc5 Faulting application path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\fsx.exe Faulting module path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\weather.dll Report Id: 2cb10772-87b2-11e3-b2aa-028037ec0200 Thanks!
  2. Hi Pete, changing the WeatherReadFactor to 0 made fsx work properly again :D :D :D !! To make sure I put 2 back into the WeatherReadFactor section to double check and fsx instantly crashed instantly after starting up. So I am very sure that WeatherReadFactor is causing fsx to crash now. Can I leave it at 0 or do I need to change the number to something else so everything works properly? (I am still trying to think why it did not crash until now) Thanks, :D Aaron
  3. Should I put back the wxstationlist.bin file (If it doen't affect fsx then I will just leave it in another folder temporarily).
  4. Hi Pete, I have deleted all my saved flights with their .wx files and I also deleted the wxstationlist.bin file in the weather folder but now it crashes straight after loading. I also installed FSUIPC 4.928 from the website. I also have done a lot of experimenting and I figured that it only happened in certain airports  (I can fly in KSFO but not KORD). I really have no idea what is going on because it only started to happen recently and I had FSUIPC since I bought fsx. The first time it happened after it mysteriously went away was when I was flying a Grumman Goose in fair weather in S28 to look at the hole next S28. It doesn't happen when I copied FSUIPC out temporarily. Thanks Again :D , Aaron. 5. Hi, I am quite new to flight simulations. I have joined a VA and I am need to use FSUIPC 4 to connect to ACARS. When I first started flight simulator and downloaded FSUIPC to try it out it started crashing fsx when en route or at the start of cruise altitude and it will say "fatal error occurred". When I stopped using full screen (so that I can switch between apps) it mysteriously disappeared. After 2-3 months, it suddenly reappeared. I do not know whether it is related or not to the full screen mode but I am sure it is being caused by FSUIPC because it disappears when I delete it (it crashes full screen or not now). Now it freezes when I load my aircraft on airports like KORB or S28 (only certain airports) but it also sometimes crashes fsx while en route or in flight. I have tried downloading the older version of FSUPC - 4.909 (I think) and now it freezes after taking off or reloading after a crash (Still learning).I know it cannot be because of any addons because it froze the first time I downloaded it and there were not any addons. This issue is really becoming annoying as I need to quit online events in my VA. Please help :( . I really need FSUIPC so that I can connect to ACARS. Thanks :D , Aaron.
