peter_giles
Hi all, Can someone please help? I'm new to VATSIM and desperately trying to get online. I’m having 2 problems.... 1) When trying to get online after running Squawkbox if getting the following error... One of more programs you are using is not accredited from access to an unregistered copy of FSUIPC. Please see the FSUIP.log for details... I've copied in the Squawkbox details under 'Register an application program' Do I need to register the program as well? Or am I doing something stupid? 2) After the above mentioned happens, I switch back to FS9 and run the host SB. A window opens up but it just a gray screen, noting happens! I've download Squawkbox 2.3 I've got file FSUIPC.dll (ver 3.1.3.5) in my modules folder as well as HostSB.dll (ver 1.0.2.1) I've checked out loads on forums on this problem but can seem to get anywhere. I've retraced my steps through the VATSIM "How to set-up FS2004 and SB 2.3 using SBRelay.exe" but just cant seem to see where I’ve gone wrong. Can somebody please help? Lauren
Peter, Ive moved your question to Pete Dowsons support forum as I think he would have a better answer to this than us in the beginners forum. :-)
Pete Dowson
When trying to get online after running Squawkbox if getting the following error... One of more programs you are using is not accredited from access to an unregistered copy of FSUIPC. Please see the FSUIP.log for details... I've copied in the Squawkbox details under 'Register an application program' Do I need to register the program as well? Or am I doing something stupid? If you are entering the details in the "register an application" part, then you are "registering the program". So far all the previous folks who had such problems were entering something wrong, like "squakbox" or "squawkbox.exe". The program name as well as the key must be entered correctly, that is all. In this case it is "squawkbox", Second, if this is with FS2004 then I think you need another program (SBRelay?) to convert between FS2002 mulitplayer and FS2004 multiplayer. I hope someone else can jump in here with clarification on this as I don't use SB myself. After the above mentioned happens, I switch back to FS9 and run the host SB. A window opens up but it just a gray screen, noting happens! Hmmm. Someone who uses things things will need to help. Sorry, I've no idea. Isn't there a forum for Squawkbox users somewhere? Pete Dowson
Can anyone please please help I've posted this on so many forums that im starting to lose count. Well I sure hope someone can help you. I have no idea I'm afraid. Very sorry. Perhaps someone will jump in with some ideas. There are plenty of on-line flyers using FS2004 so there must be a solution. Regards, Pete
