Arrestor cables for FS2004

Recommended Posts

I've got working arrestor cables and version 2.95 FSUIPC installed on my FS 2002. I'd like to use this same system with FS 2004. If I upgrade my FSUIPC to the 3.14 v and properly register it, is there a way to use the cables with 2004?

It should work okay, provided it doesn't check for FS version number or FSUIPC version number. Certainly the things it does in FS2002 can also be done in FS2004.

Maybe there's someone else here using it who can chip in?

Regards,

Pete

Thanks for your quick response Pete. There are carriers that can be downloaded for fs2004--carr2004.zip-- Once these are installed into fs2004 there should be a way to use the cables that are connected somehow to FSUIPC. I hope someone can help me with this. How about Flight Deck 3 ? Would this program work in fs2004?

Yes, and I think the freeware arrestor cables should work -- it will unless it is deliberabately set to check version numbers. The reason that might be done is that I think it is now part of a commercial product.

Ah .. that's the one! And I think it is advertised for both FS2002 and FS2004, is it not?

Regards,

Pete
