Hello

I'm a French student and for a project I realize a simulator of an Embraer ERJ145.

I used FS2002 and EpicUSB, Epicenter 1.1.055 and FSIUPC 2.96.

my problem consists on : I've not access to all commands of aircraft

I want to know if existing a solution for upgrade FSIUPC for add the commands of the Embraer (exemples: autopilot commands, trim, buttons of screens navigation...)

thanks to aswers!

PS sorry for fauts...

Sorry, I don't know any Embraer panel. If they have their own autopilot then you must ask them how to operate it. If it uses the standard autopilot, like most add-on aircraft, then all the facilities you need are already implemented. Similarly for trim.

As for "buttons of screen navigation", sorry, I don't know what you mean.

these buttons are buttons under radar's screen. they used to navigate in the differents menus (for represent energy for alternators, fuel, doors, hydraulics...)

Can you help me?

If the panel accepts keyboard shortcuts for these, then you can program joystick buttons to operate the keystrokes in FSUIPC's Buttons page.

If the panel only accepts mouse clicks then you need something like Luciano Napolitano's KEY2MOUSE utility. http://www.wideview.it/key2mouse.htm.

I want to use WideView or WideFs for obtain differents eyepoints for flying in others screens.

But I don't obtain differents screen of navigation (PFD, MFD, EICAS). How do I obtain these? Other DLL or Options in WideView or in WideFs?

Thanks!

You have to either use multiple screens on one PC, or WidevieW linking multiple FS installations for that. WideFS is for linking FS applications on a PC not running FS at all.

Depends what program you are wanting to display your instrumentation. If you are dependent upon the FS panels, then these will only run in FS, so you display them on a PC running FS. If you are using Project Magenta instrumentation, or some other software which works with the FSUIPC interface, then you can put these on separate PCs linked by WideFS.

I want to use the instrumentation in my panel. is it possible?

I didn't know that possible to use the Project Magenta instrumentation!

Luciano Napolitano's KEY2MOUSE utility is perfect for my use... thanks you!

Of course. The instruments on the panel on the FS installation you are flying can have the panel showing. It does by default. If it isn't showing press W until it does, or Shift+1 for the main part. You must have switched it off!?

You can obviously have the panel showing on any PC running FS, but you'd have to check to see whether the instruments on the WidevieW clients are driven or not. This is more a question for WidevieW. I don't know, sorry.

Another option here is to get the RJ (Regional Jet) software from Project Magenta. Run this on one pc, the main FS on another and then use the remainder PCs to display different angles of outside view.

I don't know that displaying outside views should all display the panels at all.

The fact that you have gone to the trouble of getting an EPIC system would villify the cost of the rj panel and the benefits it offers.

Just my 2 Euros worth ;)
