luckas Posted March 3, 2004 Report Posted March 3, 2004 Hi, I'm suffering some confusion on how to assign a key to switch on the Auto Throttle in Project Magenta's Boeign MCP, and then off again when the same key is pressed (ie, toggle on and off). I can only assign a key to either A/T on - or A/T off. How do I get the key to act like a toggle ? Paul
rickalty Posted March 4, 2004 Report Posted March 4, 2004 You go to FSUIPC's "keys" tab, and hit set. Turn the toggle switch on to send the signal to FSUIPC, and select "A/T On" from the drop down list for "Command to be sent when pressed", then select "A/T Off" for "Command to be sent when released". luckas Posted March 4, 2004 Author Report Posted March 4, 2004 Richard, We seem to be covering this in two forums (my fault). See my reply in avsim / home cocpit buiders. Thanks, Paul
Pete Dowson Posted March 12, 2004 Report Posted March 12, 2004 Sorry for the delay in replying -- I've been on holiday with no Internet access. I'm just trying to catch up with an enormous backlog now! Hi,I'm suffering some confusion on how to assign a key to switch on the Auto Throttle in Project Magenta's Boeign MCP, and then off again when the same key is pressed (ie, toggle on and off). I can only assign a key to either A/T on - or A/T off. How do I get the key to act like a toggle ? This needs a bit of "advanced" programming I'm afraid. You'd need to edit the FSUIPC INI file and toggle a Flag on each press, then program the same key to set A/T on when the Flag is off, A/T off when the Flag is on. Take a look at the Advanced User's guide and get back to me when/if confused. I'll then try to explain it a little more. Regards, Pete
