Al1905 Posted April 23, 2004 Report Share Posted April 23, 2004 I use the CH pro pedals. For some reason my brakes suddenly will not release! When I press both pedals and release them the brakes are still applied. If I use either brake pedal I get differential brakes, but then the brake message pops up again. I tried setting the brakes up in FSUIPC, but that did not work. If I delete FS9.cfg and recreate a new one the problem appears to be fixed. Since I have made numerous changes to FS9.cfg is there a way to easily fix this without recreating a new file? Thanks for anyone's help. It's tough trying to fly when you can't even move!!!!!!!!! Since I have made numerous changes to FS9.cfg is there a way to easily fix this without recreating a new file? Why not simply go to FS's Options-Settings-Assignments, select the Joystick tab, find both brakes there, and delete the assignment? Then, to be safe, close FS, reload. Check if FS has reassigned them automatically -- if so do they work? If they weren't reassigned, go back to the Assignments, assign them -- and also check that the sensitivity hasn't been reduced to zero (I've had that happen to me on some axes). Pete is clearly the man, the expert, and the genius in these things. I should not have jumped in with what worked for me, because it was obviously not a correct fix. UAL45 Posted April 24, 2004 Report Share Posted April 24, 2004 When I was having troubles with my peddles / yoke / throttle it also helped when I went back to the CH software, reinstalled and ran their calabration tool..
