Suggestion: Pause flight

Just a quick suggestion...Any chance to develop into fsuipc the ability to pause the Flight Simulator a certain number of miles from a given destination? One coud set Pause 150 miles from KORD, for example.

That sounds like a perfect job for a little program to do. Maybe someone who wants to learn to interface to FSUIPC could take it on as a training exercise?

FSUIPC itself is not really the right place for such an application -- to start with it has no idea where KORD is and would have to have some database to look up. It is really outside the scope of an interface program.

Hi,

a long time ago -on FS98- I had the GPS made by Alain Capt installed which did almost exactly that. If I recall right it had three options when reaching the destination: pause the sim, fly circles, do nothing.

May be there is a new version for FS9?
