B1lancer
I downloaded Version 3.22 of FSUIPC I followed the instructions but the radar won't work. I have clicked modual in the corner on fs9 and it says it is unregistered but in the user guide it says it should still work with less benefits. I have a few aircraft with radar and would love to go intercepting airliners but the radar just shows blank :( I have searched the forum but could not find any thing. Please help. Sorry, I don't make any radar programs nor gauges. You need to identify the gauges or programs you want to make work and either register them if they are listed in the Freeware Key list (see near top of this forum), or if there is no key listed or the gauges or panels are commercial, get in touch with the author about it. If you need to find the names of the offending gauges or programs, look in the FSUIPC Log file. Regards, Pete

B1lancer
I had a go at what you said, and I want register F16.gau. I put that in with its code and it still did not work I also tried just F16 and the code. What am I doing wrong?
Pete Dowson
I had a go at what you said, and I want register F16.gau. I put that in with its code and it still did not work I also tried just F16 and the code. What am I doing wrong? I don't know because I cannot see what you are doing from here. Check the [Programs] section in the FSUIPC.KEY file. That is where FSUIPC will store the Key for each gauge or program or DLL you manually register. Gauges and DLLs need the complete name entering (F16.gau in this case), but EXE files just have the name (drop the .EXE part). The Key must be exact. Cut and paste is safer than typing -- if you do type take care to get the 1's and I's and 0's and O's and 2's and Z's correct. They are easily mixed up. Show me the FSUIPC Log file as well if you are still unsure. Regards, Pete
B1lancer
This what the .key file says [Programs] F16gau=DSVTJE5S6DUO F16=DSVTJE5S6DUO F16.gau=DSVTJE5S6DUO As you can see I have tried different ones after F16.gau did not work. I downloaded the F-16 panel by Eric Marciano. The file is fullf16pnl.zip and can be found p12 of simvation's fs2002 panel section. I am running fs2004. The aircraft I wish to use the panel for is for fs2004/2002 and suggests the panel by Eric Marciano. In the manual that came with the plane and also the manual that came with the panel it does not say the radar won't work in fs2004. FSUIPC Version is 3.22. I can't see why it won't work, but I hope there is some good infomation here the can help figure it out. Thanks. Pete Dowson
I have got it to work Hmmm. Good news! But the Log didn't seem to match the KEY file, excpt right at the end when it said "ModuleOK". What did you do, please? I like to see solutions here as well as problems as it helps others. B1lancer
Before I had created a flight with the aircraft set as the F-16, so I started a create a flight with another aircraft. Then I clicked modual and put in the key and F-16.gau. Then once I began a flight with the F-16 after that it worked. I think when I started the flight with the F-16 and tried to entre the key it had tried to run the radar already and found it didn't have the key so it locked it out and would not work even once the key was put in. But when it had not run the Radar it accepted it and the would let it run. Just an idea of what might of happend. Thanks again.

Ah, yes. You would have to reload the aircraft after entering the registration. But of course it should have been okay next time to ran FS -- you don't have to enter this every time.
