After many months of Network card failure I replaced the cards and all the network is back to normal. However and for some reason I can't connect FS to Wideserver on my client PC where Project Magenta are installed... I have Win XP on Server Machine and Win ME on client The Network is working perfectly. I shut down my ZoneAlarm Firewall to be sure it's not it but still not working... I have Win XP on Server Machine and Win ME on client Please, please check the WideFS documentation. You are using IPX/SPX on a mixed network with WinXP on the Server. Only with Win98 (maybe WinMe) does Windows automatically link IPX/SPX clients to servers. As documented, for IPX/SPX you need to specify the Server Node in the WideClient INI file. The node is logged for you in the Server LOG, but you have not used it. Good luck with IPX/SPX on a mixed network. I hope it works for you.
