Henning Huelsebusch Posted September 8, 2004 Report Posted September 8, 2004 Hi, i tried to register the AIBridge-Application with the free application code, but still, i got the error "413875Program not accredited for use with this unregistered FSUIPC" in the log and also in the FS9. Could FSUIPC be too old (asking before I try to update)? Version is 3.212, but the rest works fine. Key is correct (also copy&paste) and I tried "aibridge", "AIBridge" and so on as application key. Henning
Pete Dowson Posted September 8, 2004 Report Posted September 8, 2004 i tried to register the AIBridge-Application with the free application code, but still, i got the error "413875Program not accredited for use with this unregistered FSUIPC" in the log and also in the FS9. Could FSUIPC be too old (asking before I try to update)? Version is 3.212 I don't support anything earlier than the current official release (3.30 at present), so, yes, it is "too old" in that sense. Even if that version of AIBridge is supposed to work with it, but doesn't, I cannot really look at it until you try it with the current, supported, version of FSUIPC. Also, I cannot tell whether it is a correct version of AIBridge without seeing the part of the log, as it is that which shows the details. I did think that AIBridge automatically registered itself, but I think there are several versions of the program around. Show me the relevant part of the Log and I will know. Regards, Pete
Henning Huelsebusch Posted September 8, 2004 Author Report Posted September 8, 2004 Okay, i updated to FSUIPC3.30, registered squawkbox and AIBridge. Squawkbox works fine, AIBridge not. Pete Dowson Posted September 8, 2004 Report Posted September 8, 2004 Okay, i updated to FSUIPC3.30, registered squawkbox and AIBridge. Squawkbox works fine, AIBridge not. Okay, you'll have to write to Jose Oliveira about this, or find the actual copy of AIBridge which he requested the freeware key for. The reason it isn't correct is this: The Freeware keys list shows: AIBridge.exe Product: "AIBridge", Company: "Jose Oliveira" KEY = SR2Z PO0O 5L56 The log shows: C:\Programme\AIBridge\AIBridge.exe Description="" Company="José Oliveira" There is no "Product" field at all in the version you have, and Jose's name is spelled differently to the way it was when he registered the program. In other words, this is NOT the version of AIBridge which is registered! I don't know what is going on. here. Jose is normally quite good at this stuff, and really there is no reason why he cannot put the Key into the program, which would save all this hassle. It can go into the code, or into one of two places in his Version Information. I will ask him to look at this thread. I cannot do anything else without him clarifying what is going on. Please, you write to him too. Regards, Pete
Henning Huelsebusch Posted September 8, 2004 Author Report Posted September 8, 2004 No problem, will do that... and for your information: the version I downloaded is from your site. Henning
Pete Dowson Posted September 9, 2004 Report Posted September 9, 2004 No problem, will do that... and for your information: the version I downloaded is from your site. My site? This is my only place. Perhaps you mean the Schiratti page containing my modules? As it clearly states there, that is entirely run by Enrico Schiratti. I distribute all of my software to about 30 sites, it is only Enrico who collects them all on one page, and he is usually the fastest with updates. That's why I refer folks there. I am sure that the AIBridge there is supplied by Jose Oliveira, but I don't know how often it's been updated. Certainly the one that was there for many months after FS2004 and FSUIPC was released was compatible with the Key I was asked for (but I'm not sure that it was compatible with FS2004). BTW I can't write to Jose myself at present. I've only just managed to get back onto the Web but the email service is still inaccessible -- my ISP seems to be having difficulties and has been doing so for the last 11 hours! :( Regards, Pete
Henning Huelsebusch Posted September 9, 2004 Author Report Posted September 9, 2004 Pete, I found newer Versions of AIBridge. The version on Schiratti seems to be 2.0, I found 2.1 and the latest 3.0. v3.0 seems to work, but I haven't the download-link anymore. it was very difficult to found, I found that link in the usenet. I've got an downloaded version (about 1,5 megs). If needed, I could put it on a place s.o. can download it for updating the Schiratti-site. Regards Henning

José Oliveira Hi José, Shall I ask Enrico to replace the AIBridge package downloadable on his "Dowson" page with a link to yours? Perhaps this will get over these confusions? Thanks, Pete
