Mango Posted October 15, 2004 Report Posted October 15, 2004 Dear Pete, yesterday i installed the Build 145 Beta. When i minimize a 'clean' flight and initialize AS everything works fine. I saw your note always to get in windowed mode when doing so. I tried this but after loading the weather i'm not able to bring it back to full screen. A flickering hourglass is the only sign of life and i have to shut down FS9 with the task manager. Unfortunately i can not tell if this happen without Build 145 - i always minimized FS9 without problems... Thanks for any replies and best regards from Thailand Heiko
Pete Dowson Posted October 15, 2004 Report Posted October 15, 2004 yesterday i installed the Build 145 Beta. When i minimize a 'clean' flight and initialize AS everything works fine. I saw your note always to get in windowed mode when doing so. Sorry, I am not understanding any of that. What "Build 145 Beta"? There's nothing I'm aware of with a build 145, and I have no Betas out ar present. Can you clarify? What note of mine are you referring to? Some wires here seem crossed. Are you sure you posted to the right forum? Is "AS" ActiveSky? If so, did you mean to post there? If you are getting black screens or hangs when swapping modes in FS9, you should try updating to FS9.1. Microsoft have fixed a lot of things and these may well be events of the past. Regards, Pete
JSkorna Posted October 15, 2004 Report Posted October 15, 2004 Hi Mango, 1. Start FS and clear weather. 2. ALT/TAB to Desktop. 3. Start Active Sky. 4. ALT/TAB to FS. Try a video driver update also.
