jackpilot Posted November 29, 2004 Report Posted November 29, 2004 Hi everybody Built a 4axix4buttons throttle, 100K linear pots with gears. Throttle1 Z rotation Throttle2 Y axix Flaps X axis Spoiler Slider Flaps work perfect spoiler no progressivity and once up stay up??? Throttles, cant get more than +8000 on the calibration window and throttle one does not move on the same curve than 2...ie: From about 50% N1 up, engine 2 revs up much faster than 1 even if both levers are at the same level Must do something wrong? Please help :( jack
jackpilot Posted November 29, 2004 Author Report Posted November 29, 2004 ps: Using FS2K4/ FSUIPC latest build/ USB adapter for Joystick
Pete Dowson Posted November 29, 2004 Report Posted November 29, 2004 spoiler no progressivity and once up stay up??? Test them in the air. FS seems to want to auto-deploy them if you use them on the ground. Throttles, cant get more than +8000 on the calibration window and throttle one does not move on the same curve than 2...ie: From about 50% N1 up, engine 2 revs up much faster than 1 even if both levers are at the same level Why not try calibrating them in FSUIPC? As for linearity, it sounds like you have two different types of pot. Regards, Pete
jackpilot Posted November 29, 2004 Author Report Posted November 29, 2004 Hi Pete Thats fast!!! All has been calibrated with FSUIPC (got my key this morning) I'll try to switch the pots, Spoilers worked OK with FS calibration but go bizark with FSUIPC??? Keep U posted Jack
jackpilot Posted November 29, 2004 Author Report Posted November 29, 2004 Pete You were right for the spoilers they work perfectly in flight. By the way is there any way to add a buffeting sound with the spoilers on, using Esound? Jack
Pete Dowson Posted November 29, 2004 Report Posted November 29, 2004 Spoilers worked OK with FS calibration but go bizark with FSUIPC??? What version of FSUIPC? There was a bug affecting spoilers in version 3.40. You need 3.411, the current version. See the release notes at the top of the Forum. Regards, Pete
