emergency system shut down

Recommended Posts

already the second time now, my main computor shuts down and I get a blus screen announcing an emeergency shut down, probably due to a out dated driver.

On the second computor I use Active Sky and Flight Keeper. Of course this always happens, just before take of, and before I made a save of the current flight.

on the beginning of the message i get the following text

driver_irq_not_not_less_or_equal

is WideFS the cause or something else?

See also message on atteched Word File

thanks for your help

No, none of my programs can force a system crash. You have to have privileges like drivers to be able to do that.

The only time I've ever seen exactly that message it eventually transpired that I had a faulty memory stick. If you have more than 512Mb and more than one memory stick, try removing one at a time, see if it fixes it.

It is definitely going to be one of the three:

1. Hardware problem, most likely memory or overheating, or

2. Driver problem, or, least likely:

3. Corruption in Windows.

Regards,

Pete
