ups85 Posted January 3, 2005 Report Posted January 3, 2005 already the second time now, my main computor shuts down and I get a blus screen announcing an emeergency shut down, probably due to a out dated driver. On the second computor I use Active Sky and Flight Keeper. Of course this always happens, just before take of, and before I made a save of the current flight. on the beginning of the message i get the following text driver_irq_not_not_less_or_equal is WideFS the cause or something else? See also message on atteched Word File thanks for your help Ulrich Schlaefli
Pete Dowson Posted January 3, 2005 Report Posted January 3, 2005 on the beginning of the message i get the following text driver_irq_not_not_less_or_equal is WideFS the cause or something else? No, none of my programs can force a system crash. You have to have privileges like drivers to be able to do that. The only time I've ever seen exactly that message it eventually transpired that I had a faulty memory stick. If you have more than 512Mb and more than one memory stick, try removing one at a time, see if it fixes it. It is definitely going to be one of the three: 1. Hardware problem, most likely memory or overheating, or 2. Driver problem, or, least likely: 3. Corruption in Windows. Regards, Pete
