"Y-Rotation" axis not read since Update to FSUIPC

Recommended Posts

Dear Pete

First of all (though very late  ) thank you for this GREAT utility!

Then the evil hammer

Today, I upgraded to 3.45 and I'm quite sure since then I can't set the engine#1 mixture anymore.

I'm using CH Products Throttle quadrant, USB type

Setup:

ThrottleL ThrottleR PropL PropR MixL MixR

X-Axis Y-Axis Z-Axis X.Rot Y-Rot Z-Rot respectively

The readout of Y-Rotation axis remains 0 in the Joystick (what was it? Page 3or4?) tab of fsuipc

When checking in the system settings, all levels are ok and move.

The FS's Joystick assignments which I checked also were correct

I re-installed FSUIPC V. 3.4.0 (which I fortunately (?) kept - same behaviour. So I'm not even sure anymore that this is a problem with the new version

And now, I am at a loss..

Edit: More at a loss: I renamed fsuipc.dll, so it's not loaded anymore. AND I still have the same problem. But it is not yours anymore... Which-to be honest- I'm not sure makes me happier or not

Though I'm too old to cry "emergency-help immediately" I'd appreciate a hint in the next few days, as I'm off(-line) Feb12-20. Though it's no catastrophe if you're able to help me after that.

If you need further infos, of course, feel free...

Thanks and best regards from LFSB,

HP.

Safer to move it out of the Modules folder. If you rename it be sure to omit the "dll" part.

AND I still have the same problem.

Did you check the sensitivity setting in FS? For some reason it seems to occasionally reset sensitivities to zero -- that gives exactly the symptoms you describe. There's nothing else I can think of.

Regards,

Pete

Good morning Pete

 I didn't know you offer 24/7 support :D

fsuipc.dll.345 and *.340 8)

Did you check the sensitivity setting in FS?

No, I never checked those (assuming default settings would do)

--> till I saw WHAT settings there were

All those strange things I've tried to compensate within fsuipc engine settings :?

Among - as you suggested - the sensivity of mixture 1 on zero.

Bottom line:

Problem solved, issue closed.

And another happy customer 8)

Thanks very much indeed for your fast and efficient help!!

Best regards,

Hanspeter
