Pete Dowson Posted March 21, 2003 Report Posted March 21, 2003 OK Im going to try Wide FS finally and have an extremely simple question. Does Flight Sim 2k2 need to be installed on the remote PC? No way. You may be confusing WideFS with WidevieW which is entirely different. You may have missed the entire point of WideFS. It is explicitly designed to link FS applications on a Network to FS running on one PC. This is an alternative to running the applications on the same PC as FS. There is only ever one copy of FS as far as WideFS is concerned. All WideFS is providing is a Network-wide FSUIPC interface for applications. Please read the documentation which explains it all at length. Regards, Pete
