Go into the Buttons section of FSUIPC, press your button, and assign the appropriate keystroke. If the gauge's ident function is only provided with mouse operation, then the only way would be to get Luciano Napolitano's "Key2Mouse" program and make your assigned keypress combination operate the mouse movement and click.
