stalo Posted May 9, 2005 Report Posted May 9, 2005 Pete Help!!! I loaded in your FSUIPC 3.48 into FS9. I am using a CH yoke, peddles and throttle with the CH managment program and using MS XP. I am using a shift button to expand the use of the switches. I have trim, using the rocker sw on the LH yoke. In, trying out your button program I have some how gotten the landing lights programed on the Up trim button, and I can not get it to program back. I finally took out your program in desperation, in accordance with your instructions I think! ie: I removed the fsuipc.dll file from the modules folder along with every thing else I though would have an effect, then re installed, and much to my disappointment, the problem still exists. If I put the system into direct mode all is fine, however placing it back into map mode brings the problem back. There must be a file somewhere that has this locked into, and I am by no means computer smart enough to figure it out, so I would appreciate your help before I take out my frustration out on my computer. :?
Pete Dowson Posted May 9, 2005 Report Posted May 9, 2005 In, trying out your button program I have some how gotten the landing lights programed on the Up trim button, and I can not get it to program back. Just go to the Buttons page in the FSUIPC options, press the culprit button so that FSUIPC knows which one, and press "clear" in the window. OK out. Then FSUIPC will ignore that button. It couldn't realy be much simpler. If you want to delete all the button programming in FSUIPC, just edit the FSUIPC.INI file (also in the Modules folder) and delete the entire [buttons] section. then re installed, and much to my disappointment, the problem still exists. If you still have it programmed in the FSUIPC.INI file, and didn't delete that, then of course it will still be programmed. If you want FSUIPC to start from scratch just delete the INI file beofre loading FS. If I put the system into direct mode all is fine, however placing it back into map mode brings the problem back. What's this "direct mode" and "map mode"? These are not terms I can associate with anything I know in FS or FSUIPC. Are you using some other program for your buttons? Regards, Pete
stalo Posted May 11, 2005 Author Report Posted May 11, 2005 Hi! Pete I have finely isolated my problem to the CH managment program. In answer to your question about map and direct mode, CH came out with a managment system, to create a map for there individual requirments for there CH equipment gaming needs. You have the ability to use the map or go to a direct mode. I might add here that your program has been highly touted by the people that have a lot more knowledge than I about that equipment. as a great addition to there program. However I have solved my problem by removing there program, which you don't have to have anyway, and I have just re installed your's. I have not gotten into the button programming yet, however, that will be next. :)
