Problems with Push to Talk and AVC

Recommended Posts

Managed to set-up the LAN and all the relevant programs on the client including WideClient.

As usual though just when I thought all was over and done, I found that

the PTT button on the Yoke is not to transmitting anything.

WideClient.ini has the following entries:

ActionKeys=Yes

KeySend1=PttTransmitOn

KeySend2=PttTransmitOff

The Buttons section of FSUIPC was also configured accordingly

with Parameters 1 & 2.

Microphone and Sound tested on AVC and all OK.

However when I tune the radio AVC fires up and connects to

the relevant channel but the Assigned Push to Talk button on

the Yoke doesn't transmit anything even though I can hear

all the channel comms. If I do press the keyboard key "`"

voice transmission takes place. I cannot for the life of me

how to sort this problem. Any help/advice appreciated.

Apologies if this has been discussed before.

Thanks

Where did you get those parameter values from? I've never heard of them and they most certainly will not be recognised! Please refer to the section in the WideFS documentation entitled "PTT (push to talk) for Roger Wilco, AVC and TeamSpeak", and use the parameters as shown. There's also a separate document inside the WideFS package called "How to setup Push To Talk". That one has pictures in it and the correct parameters.

I am afraid that computer programs do not work just by making up your own values for things. They have to be fed things they are programmed to understand.

Pete

Pete

I had tried the RWon/off entries but hadn't got it to work, the reason

I know realise was that I was choosing PTT on/off instead of the Keysend

1-255 command. Apologies for the inconvenience, it was late at night

and very tired after spending 6 hours setting-up the machines, LAN, etc.

Everything works just fine now.

Thanks and warmest regards
