Hi Pete,

I've setup wideserver and the clients to start PM applications with the runready option.This works fine.

The problem is that on one client the MCP and PMsounds don't shutdown when FS2004 is closing.

On the other client runs the GC and the CDU via the runready option.

Closing down FS, closed the CDU and the GC, but after that, the GC is starting again.

This is the user section of the client wich don't shutdown at all.

[user]

Log=ERRORS+

AllowShutdown=apponly

runready1="C:\MCP\MCP.EXE"

runready2="C:\PMSOUNDS\PMSOUNDS.EXE"

CloseReady1=YES

CloseReady2=YES

Hope you can help.

Best regards

Jan Geurtsen.

HmmmI've not seen that happening. Are the parameters similar in both Client INI files?

Ah, yes. I've had that happening on some PCs. It seems that because FS takes a lttle time to close (and wideServer deliberately slows it to make sure the messages get to the Clients), sometimes the Client will reconnect too fast.

Try the attached "improved" WideClient in both cases, see if it helps.

Regards

Pete

Hi Pete,

Installed the newest client on both computers and this one works fine.

Thanks for the quick reply and help.
