kdundon Posted October 18, 2005 Report Posted October 18, 2005 Peter, if I program the buttons using aircraft specific, when I start up FS 2004 the next time do I need to go to FSUICP and the buttons page and select it again to get the right keypresses or does FSUICP recognize my aircraft automatically and selects the right keypresses? I looked in the documentation but did not find that in there. I might have missed it but anyway I thought I would ask. Ken
Pete Dowson Posted October 19, 2005 Report Posted October 19, 2005 Peter, if I program the buttons using aircraft specific, when I start up FS 2004 the next time do I need to go to FSUICP and the buttons page and select it again to get the right keypresses or does FSUICP recognize my aircraft automatically and selects the right keypresses? It recognises the aircraft each time you load one. That's the whole point of the facility. Didn't you just try it to see? Regards, Pete
kdundon Posted October 19, 2005 Author Report Posted October 19, 2005 I did but was confused as it did not show the aircraft name. Will look again to see if the specific aircraft was in fact showing. Thanks for your time. Wont bother you again.
Pete Dowson Posted October 20, 2005 Report Posted October 20, 2005 I did but was confused as it did not show the aircraft name. Will look again to see if the specific aircraft was in fact showing. The current aircraft name is only shown on page 6 of the Joysticks tab, in the bottom right section where it also tells you the number of flap detentes and the increment used between them. There's no need (and no room) to show the aircraft name elsewhere. Pete
