Mark Howarth Posted October 29, 2005 Report Posted October 29, 2005 Hey Guys, I have a problem with the FONT size with I am looking at the FSUIPC options. The Problem is attached. I have resetted all fonts to be normal size and not the large/extra large option. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers, Mark Howarth
Frank.O Posted October 29, 2005 Report Posted October 29, 2005 Hi Mark, what did you change to cause this? Also - have you checked there is no different setting for this in the display properties? Right click on the desktop, select properties and go to the tab where you can set the appearance of windows (don't know the exact terms, sorry, my windows is german). In the foreground you'll see a box with an OK button and some text in it. Click on the text and you see the settings for the colour, the font and the font size. Regards, Frank
Mark Howarth Posted October 30, 2005 Author Report Posted October 30, 2005 Hey Frank, Thanks for your reply... I have found out that this is not a FSUIPC specific problem.... Most programs are affected. I would appreciate any type of suggestions. :( :(
Frank.O Posted October 31, 2005 Report Posted October 31, 2005 Mark, I would appreciate any type of suggestions.did you try what I suggested in my last post? You can change the font size in that dialogue.Regards, Frank
Mark Howarth Posted November 1, 2005 Author Report Posted November 1, 2005 Hey Frank, I've had a look at the settings, they are the same as my other computer. The Other Computer is not affected. This has left me very confused !!!! Thanks for your help... any other suggestions? Cheers, Mark Howarth
TweakFS Posted November 1, 2005 Report Posted November 1, 2005 Hi Mark, The rogue font being displayed there is FixedSys, it should be MS Sans Serif (on most systems it's the default font). One possibility is checking to see if you have that font in your C:\Windows\Fonts folder or if you perhaps deleted it? Maybe it's defaulting to FixedSys in the absense of MS Sans Serif?
Mark Howarth Posted November 1, 2005 Author Report Posted November 1, 2005 Hey Guys, Thanks for all your help! I've resorted to just reinstalling XP Pro and it worked. Cheers. Mark Howarth
