Dear Pete

I currently have two button issues with the jetliner console as follows:

1) The AT disengage of the 737 NG throttle does not register on the test page of the PFC driver. I note that I have checked to see if the a/t lead is plugged in. I have also emailed PFC to see if it is a hardware problem. Any ideas?

2) The auto throttle off switch registers on the PFC driver test page as 9202 Jetswchs =02 (Auto throttle down/off toggle) but when I try to assign a keystroke to this switch in FSUIPC it won't register as a button . I note that the on switch up toggle work. Any idea here on this one ?

I have tried both the current PFC driver and FSUIPC modules and also tried the Beta versions 1.989 and 3.5.

Hopefully you may have time to help.

Regards

No -- possibly the firmware is too early to support that connection, but that seems unlikely. I'm afraid the software can only deal with what it sees. Your course of action lies with PFC I'm afraid, not me.

The switch you are talking about sends a 0 to 1 change or a 1 to 0 change. It is only a single switch, akin to a single button. What were you expecting?

To program any switch in FSUIPC you simply need to IDENTIFY it by toggling in in whichever way FSUIPC will see it. In the programming page FSUIPC is only looking for an "off to on" transition -- otherwise it would get triggered on wrong events. You can still program it for both "press" and "release" transitions.

Do you have the 737 NG throttle with to/ga and A/T disconnect switches??

Was your jetliner console sent to PFC for re-wiring?

If so the A/T switch has to be in the armed position in order for you to see the button as they are wired together

The output to the PFC.dll is the same they look like 1 switch
