David Lee Posted October 24, 2006 Report Posted October 24, 2006 Hi Peter, Thanks for getting these updates out so quickly! I am one of many, I suspect, who installed FSX but have kept FS9 on my system and will use both for a period of time. FSX is on a new harddrive all by itself. FS9 works great with FSUIPC and WideFS driving my Project Magenta software on other PCs. If I purchase and install FSUIPC will I have the option of specifically installing it in FSX so it will not impact my FS9/FSUIPC/WideServer installations? What about on the client end? Thanks David

There's no option. FSUIPC4 will only install in FSX. It won't see FS9 and cannot be installed into it. FS9 and FSX will not interact. You just cannot run them both ast the same time on the same PC. What about on the client end? WideFS clients will connect with whichever is running at the time. You need no changes that end. Regards, Pete
