barrykensett
FSNavigator is the most compact source of charts etc that I know of for world wide navigation (without killing a lot of trees) but the FSX compatible version will not be out until next year. In the meantime I am running FS9 on a laptop just for FSNav. Is there interoperability between FS9 and FSX with WideFS to enable position to be picked up? Pete Dowson
Is there interoperability between FS9 and FSX with WideFS to enable position to be picked up? No. WideFs is for FSUIPC client programs. Maybe you are mixing up WidevieW, which links FS installations? That's a totally different program by a different author. ;-) Regards, Pete
barrykensett
Thanks for straigtening my brain Pete, looks like my best solution is FS Commander instead of FS Navigator, I can run that with WideFS on my laptop.
