kennelly Posted January 26, 2007 Report Posted January 26, 2007 Your answer did the trick, must have been a bad simconnect install. However my problems persist insofar as I get no "addon" menu atop FSX screen. The FSUIPC4 gives no indication that it has not installed and there is a modules folder under FSX. I have removed this folder and reinstalled FSUIPC4 and the modules folder appears but no addon menu. Glad to have your help. regards ken
Pete Dowson Posted January 26, 2007 Report Posted January 26, 2007 Your answer did the trick, must have been a bad simconnect install. However my problems persist insofar as I get no "addon" menu atop FSX screen. In which case either the SimConnect re-install didn't fix everything, or more likely you have some firewall or other security program blocking the SimConnect connection to FSX. Please show me the contents of the FSUIPC4.LOG file which you will find in the Modules folder, and check the FSUIPC Read Me text file and the "FSUIPC4 on FSX and Firewalls" Announcement above.
