fjgonzalez1 Posted September 28, 2007 Report Posted September 28, 2007 Hi, Pete. I am installing FSUIPC for FS 2004. The tutorial says that once initiated FS, in the Modules option in the menu, I must select FSUIPC. Then, I have to click ‘Register an application program’. However, this option is not in the tab. The FSUIPC version I downloaded was 3.75. What should I do? Thanks for your help. Francisco J. Gonzalez (Bogota, Colombia)
Pete Dowson Posted September 29, 2007 Report Posted September 29, 2007 Hi, Pete. I am installing FSUIPC for FS 2004. The tutorial says that once initiated FS, in the Modules option in the menu, I must select FSUIPC. Then, I have to click ‘Register an application program’. You wish to "Register an Application"? What application? There has been no Application registration since about version 3.72. However, this option is not in the tab. The FSUIPC version I downloaded was 3.75. What should I do? Where are you reading this “tutorial” which tells you such things? The User Guide supplied in the Zip for 3.75 most certainly doesn't have any such instructions! I can't tell you what to do. You tell me what YOU want to do and I'll tell you where to find it in the User Guide. There is actually a Contents list at the front. Did you refer to that at all? Regards Pete
JSkorna Posted September 29, 2007 Report Posted September 29, 2007 Hi, That is an older feature of FSUIPC and not needed anymore. Application programs are automatically recognized by FSUIPC now. However, this is different than registering FSUIPC itself. For that you need to purchase a key and use the Register FSUIPC button.
Pete Dowson Posted September 29, 2007 Report Posted September 29, 2007 That is an older feature of FSUIPC and not needed anymore. Yes, and not featured in the documentation either, that is what puzzled me about this query. ;-) Best Regards, Pete
