FreightHog
Hi Peter, Great work FSUIPC4 version 4.25, I am using Level-D 767 and Pmdg747 add-ons with ASX,AGX,Vista Ultimate, FSX SP1 and all other REQUIRED updates tweaks and SP. I have tried FSX SP2 but no matter what I do it CTD for some reason or the other. I been working on My FSX project for over a year now and I think it's finally running almost perfect with the help of your Fsuipc 4.25. Situation: Yesterday I made a short flight from EDDF to EDDM with both add-ons the B767 was flawless but with the B747 Pmdg, shortly after takeoff it seemed as if the autopilot was on and trying to correct my control movements. During cruise autopilot on the AC reversed course for no reason bank angle 45° or more. I checked FSX controls they are all deleted. Manual flight still felt as if the autopilot was trying to override my inputs this was an intermittent problem. Solution: Any Ideas? Is this an Isolated problem or have other reported the same abnormalities? Does it pertain to FSUIPC? I out for the next few days but when I return will try again with a newly prepared flight plan and wheather. Thanks

If you have enabled FSUIPC's wind smoothing, for the time being you will also need to disable wind turbulence in both the Winds and Clouds tabs. (It does actually say this in the User Guide). PMDG inform me that this is because the turbulence emulation performed by FSUIPC4 at present is not very realistic, and it is too violent for the well-balanced and accurately computed flight characteristics incorporated into their aircraft. Alternatively, you might get a good flight, with turbulence still enabled, by turning the effect down somewhat. This is done by editing the FSUIPC4.INI file and adjusting the "TurbulenceRate" value. Currently it defaults to 1.0. Try values like 0.5 or even 0.2. I am working with PMDG to develop a more realistic form of turbulence for FSUIPC4, but I don't know when I'll be able to provide this at present. FreightHog
Thanks you for your response, will take a closer look at this problem in a few days. I am so happy to have FSX running smoothly and at least one of these two add-ons LevelD or PMDG is working correctly, for this I must thank you and Fsuipc (Wind shift was so UNREALISTIC before FSUIPC 4,2?).I am an MD11 pilot, should I say real? Fsx is a tool in which I use to help make my work understandable, a test bench to test certain things that would normally be impossible to test in real life(e.g. 2 engine out approach, one eng out drift down NATS)and so it has to perform realistically close to perfect. Maybe you'll be hearing from me once Pmdg MD11 is finished. I think that PGDG builds one of the best add-ons but also a very System demanding I also think that if the B747 runs perfectly, all other add-on will also. Its people like you that make flying fun TC Thanks
