Pete Dowson
I need some help for running Wide FS with FS 9 I have FSUIPC Version 3.75 registered Version That's very much out of date now, and unsupported. You should be using Version 3.80. and Wide FS6 registered Version. Well, not according to the first Log. didn't you see this: 86063 WideFS cannot be used until it is Registered through FSUIPC (version 3.44 or later) I know the FSUIPC log says you have a key, as for FSUIPC, but since that log was incomplete (you did not close FS before using it), I cannot tell even if your FSUIPC key is valid. Please never supply logs until everything is closed down. There is always important information in the final closing lines. Something is wrong, if not with the Key(s) then instead maybe with your system's date. WideServer reports it as 05/12/07. Is that when you ran FS for these logs? If not, why is the system date set so? Have you perhaps had a crash or had your motherboard battery changed recently? If the data in your PC precedes the date you registered either FSUIPC or WideFS, then the related key won't be valid. The second WideServer log shows things okay, though yet again it is incomplete, so it isn't much use. Could that log be after you actually entered your registration? Why supply two WideServer logs and yet no WideClient log, when the latter is probably more relevant? Please check these things. Update your FSUIPC, and try again. And check the WideClient log, as the answer is there -- there's nothing shown wrong with the Server end, assuming you have a correct Registration and system date. Above all please always close down FS and Wideclient before showing logs. Regards Pete
