Pete Dowson
When i start up Wide Client on my clientcomputer it makes a good connection but after a minute it sais no connection and wright after that it syais connected and when a look on my Servercomputer it says 1 connected and then 2 connected so it going on up and down and i dont know what the problem is. This phenomenon is actually described in the documentation and is caused by the Server timing out later than the Client, so when the Client decides the connection has failed and re-connects, for a time the Server thinks there's another client, and so on. To find out what is going on you need to look at the Logs. That is what they are for. There will be a Server log and a Client log. if you don't understand them, show them to me. Pete Dowson
I hope you can help me with this, I spend a lot of time searching for this problem, but can't find it. How do you "search for a problem"? You don't need to look for one in any case, you already have one. There is simply no data arriving at the Client from the Server. So it times out and reconnects. The Client log shows this, and the Server log shows that every single time it tries to send something it is totally blocked. This must be some sort of firewall or other protection system preventing the transfer. You need to find out what and either disable it or provide the appropriate permissions.
