The-GPS-Kid
(FS9) Hi Pete, I recently updated my FSUIPC.DLL from 3.76 to 3.81 and have found that the [EliminateTransients] is no longer solving the 'Phantom Buttons' issues on my shoddy Saitek Yoke and Throttle. The entry in my fsuipc.cfg has not changed and is still valid and was working just fine in FSUIPC 3.76. Has this support been removed for any reason, or has the required CFG entry changed ? Thanks, David.
Pete Dowson
I recently updated my FSUIPC.DLL from 3.76 to 3.81 and have found that the [EliminateTransients] is no longer solving the 'Phantom Buttons' issues on my shoddy Saitek Yoke and Throttle. I've not changed it. But I can't support old versions in any case. the current release is 3.82 (since mid-july, some two months ago), and there's a 3.829 available in the "Other Downloads" Announcement above. Please always check you are using the current version when asking for support. Regards Pete
The-GPS-Kid
Pete, I will upgrade to the latest version. Still don't understand why the [EliminateTransients] stopped working. I temporarily rolled back to 3.76 and the [EliminateTransients] started doing it's job again. I will try the latest version and we'll see if it works. Pete Dowson
I will upgrade to the latest version. Still don't understand why the [EliminateTransients] stopped working. I temporarily rolled back to 3.76 and the [EliminateTransients] started doing it's job again. No idea why either, but I am very busy at present (off on holiday on Thursday) and I don't want to spend time investigating if it is okay in the current version. In fact, because of that, please try the interim update 3.829. If it is still non-operative i will try to find out why. BTW why do you always refer to it in [] brackets? In the INI file only the Section names are so enclosed. The parameter should simply be EliminateTransients=Yes placed in the main [buttons] section, as documented in the Advanced user's guide.
