MALLOZZI Posted October 22, 2008 Report Share Posted October 22, 2008 Wanting to install FSUIPC for FSX de luxeI obtain the msg according to: your FSX installation is incorrect The version off simconnect installed will not load FSUIPC I reinstalled three times FSX and each time successfully (activation OK) My FSUIPC is well acquired for FSX I am W XP pro If you could give me a track. I did not find anything of clear good on Internet I also reinstalled Simconnect starting from the SDK of FSX Without result. Always same msg Unfortunately Microsoft's installers do NOT reinstall SimConnect if remnants are still there. It is a bad failing of the Windows "side-by-side" library system, a result of their over-protection against possibly corruption making it difficult to remove corruption. Please see the "FSX Help" Announcement above which tells you how to reinstall the base version of SimConnect from the DVD -- it is this version which is corrupted! If you are using Vista you might find it more difficult. You would need elevated administrator proivileges at least. Folks have re-installed Windows for less!
