LDP1949 Posted June 27, 2009 Report Posted June 27, 2009 Experiencing the common problem of brakes will not release. I have used FSUIPC axis assignment and calibration in lieu of FS9. I have tried all combinations with and without REV, and slope appears ineffective for problem. I have read other posts about increasing Null, etc. however how can one do that solely using FSUIPC? The reason I do not use the FS9 sensitivities is to solve another problem with excessive trim sensitivity using the CH Yoke.
Pete Dowson Posted June 28, 2009 Report Posted June 28, 2009 I have read other posts about increasing Null, etc. however how can one do that solely using FSUIPC? When calibrating the brakes in FSUIPC, be sure to press them a little (to get the values well off the "feet off" value) before pressing the minimum 'Set' button. And press the maximum set without pressing the brakes fully to make sure you can always reach maximum braking. This process applies to all axes, and it is actually described in the steps for calibration in the seldom-read FSUIPC User guide. ;-). Regards Pete
LDP1949 Posted June 28, 2009 Author Report Posted June 28, 2009 Thank you sir. I actually printed all 59 pages of the manual and refer to it often, but I'll confess I did'nt read that part. Thanks for the sound advise. -Parson
