Fmyers
Kind regards. I have been tasked with creating a new app for an online aviation radio station and simply would like to know if I need anything in the way of permissions to include the fsuipc.dll into my Vis Stud 2008 script that is going to be dist.'d as freeware. Secondly, I have heard mention of 'keys' in various posts. Could someone kindly illuminate this. Thirdly, What if any, are the legal ramifications of creating freeware apps using the fsuipc.dll and are there a way to bundle the fsuipc installation pack with my app so as to make it easier for newbies and such to install our app without having to go hither and yon to fetch fsuipc from your website. Pete Dowson
I have been tasked with creating a new app for an online aviation radio station and simply would like to know if I need anything in the way of permissions to include the fsuipc.dll into my Vis Stud 2008 script that is going to be dist.'d as freeware. These days FSUIPC needs an Installer, and that also installs documentation. You can include the Installer, or better the ZIP which includes the Installer and a document describing it. But please also mention that your users should go to the Schiratti site to check for updates or here for more information, support, and more updates. ;-) I have heard mention of 'keys' in various posts. Could someone kindly illuminate this. "Keys" as in those things on a Keyboard, you mean? That's the usual meaning. What is the context? What if any, are the legal ramifications of creating freeware apps using the fsuipc.dll None, it is free for freeware. Regards Pete
