DARKLAND
Hello; This is my problem; I’m using FSX, windows 7, FSUIPC4, the Saitek FlyWheel, and an extra set of levers. So I have 6 levers for the two propellers of the aircraft. The aircraft is a Piper PA-31T Cheyenne X from Aerosoft. I need to program 3 axes for each engine. One for the power control, one for the propeller control lever and one for the condition lever. I’m using the axes area of FSUIPC4 to assign this axes for the 6 levers of Saitek. I manage to assign 4 levers two for the power control and two for the control, or angle lever. By now I have 4 levers assigned to the aircraft using FSUIPC4. When I go to the aircraft panel and I move the Saitek levers the corresponding levers in the panel move and do what they are supposed to do. Now, I need to assign two more levers, one for each of the propellers. The problem is, that when I assigned one of the extra levers to the condition lever, that, by the way it is called mix in FSX, one of the already assigned levers, the ones that are already working just stop to work. When I move the Saitek lever the lever that was working before assigning the condition lever just stop working. It can be one or two of the previously working levers. So I can’t have the six levers working because when I try to assign the fifth lever one or two of the working levers just stop working. Is like if the assignment of the new lever is using the memory position already used by the previously assigned levers. Please excuse my English. Can you help me here please? You have disabled controllers in FSX itself? What version of FSUIPC4, please? The actual version number is needed. Please also show me your FSUIPC4.INI and FSUIPC4.LOG files from the FSX Modules folder (you can paste them into a message), and tell me the Joystick Numbers and Axis letters of the two axes you think are interfering with each other. mjrhealth
As peter said, you need to go into the controller section of flightsim, select the saitek, scroll down the joystick list, and untick the the joystick axis assignments, then try again.
