FSUIPC & SB4 on seperate computers

Recommended Posts

Background: I used to have all my FS apps on one computer....FSX, ActiveSky X, SB4, DVA's ACARS, etc. etc. Now, my desktop only runs FSX while my laptop runs everything else.

Problem: How do I setup a PTT button for my yoke that will interact with SB4 running on the laptop?

BTW, I have registered copies of both FSUIPC & WideFS. Also, the networking and communication between my laptop and desktop is great. SB4 and ActiveSky X work flawlessly. I am just trying to figure out if I can setup my PTT button on my yoke (which is obviously connected to my FSX computer) to communicate to SB4 that is running on my desktop.

Thanks in advance!

Via wideFs, simply by assigning to the PTT controls in FSUIPC. As far as I am aware there is no difference there between local or remote or between SB3 and SB4. I'm simply not able to move to SB4 because they don't support the offsets for Transponder mode and Ident nor respond to offers from me to add new messages for them to process for those functions.

Regards

Pete
