FSUIPC4 and Saitek Switch Panel

Is it possible to reprogram the switches on Saitek Switch Panel through FSUIPC4?

Doesn't that come with it's own control program with assignment facilities? I don't think any of the buttons and switches on it are recognised as normal Windows buttons, so it isn't supported by FSUIPC in that way.

I did read about someone who'd decoded its interface and was looking at doing an interface program which would allow FSUIPC button assignments, but I can't find that thread now.

I've also asked Saitek for more details of their products and perhaps a sample so I could try things. Not heard from them again yet, though.
