Hello Pete,

I've searched some forums already on this problem, but no clear statement: In FS9 I had the MP traffic during IVAO sessions visible in the airplane TCAS, I assume through FSUIPC and TrafficInfo.dll.

Now I run FSX - and there is no MP traffic in my airplane TCAS anymore (I tried Standard C172 G1000 and FeelThere ERJ135). AI traffic is ok I assume (didn't try it), but IVAP switches the AI traffic off.

Is it correct, that there is no way to get the IVAO MP traffic into my airplane cockpit TCAS?

Thx and best regards

Nils

Only the same was as there was with FS9 -- FSUIPC provides the means for the applications which know about MP traffic to inject it into the tables. There's no difference there between FSUIPC3 and FSUIPC4, so I think you need to look at the application. Is that different?

BTW I'm surprised they use MP in FSX. I thought for FSX all those programs injected traffic using AI and SimConnect, not MP.

How can I check, if the data is transferrd correctly?

You can run the TrafficLook program. You can download it from the 'Updates and Goodies' sticky here:

http://forums.simflight.com/viewtopic.php?f=54&t=74352

It'll give you a raw list of the FSUIPC TCAS tables.

Also, make sure you are using the latest version of FSUIPC4. The TCAS injection was broken in FSUIPC4 until late last year.
