chestajeff Posted May 15, 2010 Report Posted May 15, 2010 I can't release the brakes via the key board (using the period key) I am sure I have done something as this problem exist in bot FS9 and FSX. I have a Precision flight control Cirruss model with brake pedals. Thanks for any suggestions

If so, reverse them -- wherever you've assigned them (FS or FSUIPC) there will be a REV option. Pete
chestajeff Posted May 15, 2010 Author Report Posted May 15, 2010 Thank you, I tried as suggested, when I apply the brakes the "diiferential brakes" flash, but the brakes remain engaged as well as the parking brake.

The parking brake should be disengaged using the "." key or a control assigned to operate it. There is a facility in FSUIPC to auto-disengage parking brakes when you pressboth toe brakes to a certain (adjustable) pressure, but you have to assign in FSUIPC to use that, and it is only in a very recent version of FSUIPC. Reverse your toe brake axes as I suggested and calibrate them with a good null zone near the off position. Assign some button for parking brakes. Pete
chestajeff Posted May 17, 2010 Author Report Posted May 17, 2010 Thank you I have resolved the problem. For both FS9 and FSX I use aPrecision flight control Cirruss and no other “joysticks” when I was looking around it seems that somehow I have an added USB Joystick and this what was causing my issues.
