I've read most of the relevant documentation, and I gather I should be seeing an "Addon" menu item inside FSX on the right side of the menu, and there's nothing there. Windows 7 Home Premium, FSX w/Acceleration, FSUIPC4 v4.60. Is there an FSUIPC4.LOG in the FSX Modules folder? If so, please show it to me. If not, then FSUIPC4 is not being loaded. No, there isn't. Only the install log. If not, then FSUIPC4 is not being loaded. Please paste in your DLL.XML file The DLL.XML file is as follows: FSUIPC 4 False Modules\FSUIPC4.dll In the meantime, I did a "Repair" of both FSX and Accel to eliminate the various addons I had installed, leaving a virgin FSX install. I also deleted the fsx.cfg file to start afresh - then attempted a re-install of FSUIPC4. No effect. It's still not loading, and at this point, I'm afraid I'm out of altitude and airspeed on this one. I know of nothing more to check. Am I supposed to have any other utilities installed in order to get FSUIPC4 to load. Am I supposed to have an FSUIPC4.LOG file in the FSX Modules folder? I do not, and if I don't, why don't I? Racklefratz Posted September 18, 2010 Author Report Share Posted September 18, 2010 Think I'm in business now. FSUIPC$.log now shows in my FSX Modules folder, and I have an "Addons" menu item in FSX. Completely uninstalled and reinstalled FSX, then installed FSUIPC4. Seems to be working. I was able to run Live Cockpit for a brief test. Still have not reinstalled Acceleration, but will do so and test again. Thanks for your interest and time. Looks like I had a corrupt FSX installation.
