toby23
I have only recently noticed the 'flashing sky during weather updates' as I only recently started to use FSUIPC to control the weather. Apparently this problem has been around since 2005/ 2006 (See Note 4) (LINK) I would like to know if there is a solution for this problem? If there isn't, what do I have to disable in FSUIPC's settings to stop this happening and what price do I pay for doing that? Thanks for your help, Toby
Andydigital
It never did it for me until the recent beta version of ASE, I'd have a word with Hifi first.
toby23
Andy, this also happens with REX weather. It's not an ASE specific problem. Apparently it's linked to FSUIPC. See my link above, Thanks, Toby
Andydigital
Like I said up until a few days ago when I started using beta version 625 of ASE the sky never flashed, so I've no idea what has changed, the only other thing I've changed in the same time period is my graphics drivers for my nvidia 285 GTX so it's possible that they could be the cause too. jaykay
I have the same issue with REX and FSUIPC 4.60. I have ATI graphics, so I think that rules out the nvidia drivers. /Jaykay
