paoloricardo
Am running FS9 on Win 7 Pro 64 bit. FSUIPC is installed. When I try to open FSUIPC from the Modules menu option my screen goes black and FSUIPC is not displayed. If I hit ESC, FSUIPC shows momentarily before the FS9 screen to 'End Flight etc'. Is this a known feature?

Is this a known feature? No, it is a fault in the video driver you are using, one that causes it to be unable to display standard Windows dialogues in Full Screen mode. It happens very rarely, but it isn't anything to do with FSUIPC -- the dialogue is made by Windows. If you cannot fix it by updating your video drivers the only work-around known is to switch to FS Windowed mode to access the dialogues. Note that if you just upgraded to Windows 7, it installs its own video drivers to get you started, but they are quite poor compared to the correct latest ones for your specific video card (i.e. from nVidia or ATI/AMD). Pete Pete: thanks. I have the latest nVidia drivers so I'll try Windowed mode.
scanman24
Hi there, This is one of my first posts so firstly...hello everyone My query is similar, in that after installing FSUIPC 4 (without registration), it does not appear as an Addon (under th tab) like it used to. My FX recently crashed and so a I had to reinstall many programmes, including FSUIPC 4 - could doing this be the issue? Is there a max limit on how many times it can be installed/reinstalled? Cheers, scanman24
