Bryan Costin Posted June 15, 2011 Report Posted June 15, 2011 Hello, I have been using FSUIPC4 since 2008 when it was version 3. Over time I have updated to version 6. I have just replaced my computer and tried to reload FSUIPC4 but it will not accept the activation code ( code removed... we really don't want that appearing on a warez site, thanks... also I have changed my email address from Personal details also removed by Ian P... We really don't want to be responsible for the spam bots getting you either! Can you help please Bryan.
Ian P Posted June 15, 2011 Report Posted June 15, 2011 Hi Bryan, Post edits, I'll also try and answer some of your queries. 1) E-mail address changes don't worry FSUIPC/WIDEFS - it's a method used to identify you during registration, not for communication, so it doesn't matter whether the e-mail address still exists, it is tied to your registration and you can continue to use it. 2) Can you please ensure that you are entering your information exactly as you did when you registered please? The easy way to check is to log in to your account at simMarket, go to My Products at the top right, select the version of FSUIPC/WIDEFS you are trying to register and copying your details directly from there. Almost always, when registration fails, it's because of an input error (even copying and pasting you can end up with extra spaces or similar). The codes don't stop working after a period of time or a hardware change. Hope that helps? All the best, Ian P.
Pete Dowson Posted June 15, 2011 Report Posted June 15, 2011 I have been using FSUIPC4 since 2008 when it was version 3. Over time I have updated to version 6. I assume you must actually mean versions 4.30 and 4.60, respectively, rather than 3 and 6. Please update to 4.70 as 4.60 is no longer supported. Regards Pete

Bryan Costin Posted June 16, 2011 Author Report Posted June 16, 2011 G'day Ian, Thank you for the prompt reply, It's all fixed now. I just had to use my old email address on the registeration Thanks again, Bryan.
Ian P Posted June 16, 2011 Report Posted June 16, 2011 Hi Bryan, Glad you got it working, however you'll also want to follow Pete's advice regarding installing the latest version. I think I'm going to have to create a standard copy and paste answer for this question, that says "update to the latest version, and use exactly the details as per your registration", it comes up so frequently. Although Pete's probably already done that in the FAQ subforum - I should check that. Cheers, Ian P.
